The lightweight SMT components used are less prone to damage caused by vibrations, increasing the reliability of the converters. The use of SMT makes the converters very compact, making it easier to find a suitable installation location. The converters have no external fuses. Fuses only blow in case of failure, so they do not need to be accessible. Quick Installation All converters fit into the "Click 'n' Fit" bracket, which is secured at three points, allowing installation on uneven surfaces. The bracket can be easily secured in hard-to-reach places and then the converter can be snapped into it. (The DD 24-12 600 has two mounting holes.) A red LED indicates that there is voltage at the converter output, which helps with installation and speeds up troubleshooting. |
